Genuine Dermaroller

Genuine Dermaroller Therapy is an advanced micro-medical skin needling procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely - creating smoother, brighter, healthier and younger looking skin.

What Does Genuine Dermaroller Therapy Involve?

Using a Genuine Dermaroller medical device which produces thousands of micro-medical needle-columns in the skin, each column will penetrate into the dermis. The column will close rapidly, enabling the skin to recover quickly - often the same day.

A topical anaesthetic cream will be used to numb the skin making the procedure comfortable – this generally takes up to 30 minutes to take effect and another 20 minutes for the process itself.

Three sessions of Dermaroller, with approximately six weeks between them, is advised while more courses may be required to treat acne scarring.

Why You Might Need Genuine Dermaroller Therapy

Genuine Dermaroller Therapy stimulates the skin by using thousands of micro-medical needle-columns with an approximate width of 0.1mm. Someone who is keen to reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles and damaged skin will look towards Genuine Dermaroller Therapy.

Recovery

Immediately after Genuine Dermaroller Therapy, you will look as though you have moderate sunburn with your skin feeling warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after one to two hours, usually healing the same day with only slight redness the following day. You are recommended to use tepid water, drying gently, until the redness has gone.

It can take up to six weeks for the effects of the procedure to become visible, continuing over the following months as the skin begins to regenerate.
