The management of skin problems in primary care is a key competence for general practice. During our workshop, our speakers will give bitesize updates on common skin conditions followed by a presentation on the identification and diagnosis of skin lesions and skin cancer.

- Skin Cancer (MOHS Surgery, BCC's and Actinic Keratosis (AK)
Dr Shergill’s specialist area of interest is the treatment of skin cancer. He is the lead clinician for the Sussex Specialist Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team. He is skilled in complex surgical techniques and a range of laser treatments. He also treats general dermatology skin problems such as eczema, acne and rashes.

Identification & Diagnosis of Skin Lesions and Skin Cancer (Melanoma and Sentinel Node Biopsy)
Mr. Kumar is a UK-trained Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon appointed at Queen Victoria Hospital in 2016. He has specialist interests in skin cancer; microsurgical reconstruction; trauma; breast and general plastic surgery.
