The McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead has received a rating of “good” overall in a Care Quality Commission (CQC) report.
It was the first inspection of the hospital, which specialises in plastic and reconstructive surgery, since it became part of charity Horder Healthcare in July 2015.

Patients told inspectors they “loved the hospital”, received great care and they were always treated with dignity, respect and that the staff
The inspection process, which checks the standards of all hospitals and care services in the UK, said that there was a strategy of refurbishment and staff inspection in place and that staff were aware of the vision for the hospital.
The refurbishment project includes three new theatres, a six-bed recovery area, upgrading infrastructure and treatment rooms, refurbishing all ward bedrooms and providing a new outpatient area. The new theatres mean that
