Whilst balancing his personal life, (he’s a good batsman and is married with two children), Sanjay Chougule has personally performed over 5000 orthopaedic operations to date.

Sanjay is a graduate of Bombay University and completed his medical qualification in Grant Medical College. He then went on to complete his Masters in 2001, specialising in trauma and orthopaedics.

Before coming to Britain, Sanjay worked for four years as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in lower limb and trauma cases. Impressively, he spread his best practice as a lecturer in Medical College Hospital during this time.

In 2010, Sanjay undertook further specialist training in the South East of England which focused on trauma and orthopaedic cases. As of 2015, he was appointed as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at East Surrey Hospital.

As well as being highly experienced, Sanjay is very widely published. His portfolio is extensive, interests range from sports injury, to knee replacements. On top of this, Mr. Chougule is a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research.
