Rebecca is a Micropigmentation Practitioner and runs a monthly Saturday morning clinic at The McIndoe Centre. Rebecca has been qualified as a Micropigmentation Practitioner for seven years, runs both private and NHS clinics and has regular training updates.
What does a micropigmentation treatment involve?
Nipple and areola micropigmentation is a medical tattoo and involves the implantation of pigment into the skin to create the illusion, or enhance, a nipple and areola. Most of the patients seen by Rebecca have undergone breast reconstruction surgery following a diagnosis of breast cancer or the discovery of a gene mutation. Others have micropigmentation following breast cosmetic surgery.
Patients usually need two appointments, four to six weeks apart, for micropigmentation treatment.
