After gaining his university qualifications in Sri Lanka, Edinburgh and Glasgow, Mr Selvan pursued a master’s degree in orthopaedic surgery at the University of London in 1988. He gained his FRCS (Orth) qualification in Edinburgh, 1990.

As Mr Selvan specialises in shoulder procedures, he can treat frozen shoulders and soft tissue problems. Treatment methods include keyhole arthroscopic surgery, subacromial decompression, arthroscopic repair and anterior stabilisation, total shoulder replacement, acromioclavicular joint reconstruction and fixation of clavicular fractures plus elbow arthroscopy.

Mr. Selvan holds professional memberships along with a number of prestigious qualifications:
