The McIndoe Centre supports International Women’s Day

As a hospital with a service dedicated to women’s health and well-being, we believe in championing initiatives that uplift and empower women in all aspects of life.

That’s why we are proud to be the headline sponsor of A Celebration of Women Afternoon Tea, in aid of local charity Taylor-Made Dreams.

This special event on Sunday 23 March is more than just a celebration—it’s a powerful gathering to recognise the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women while raising vital funds to support children with life-limiting illnesses.

We are also thrilled that our very own Dr Emma Sloan, GP & Menopause Specialist, will be taking the stage as a guest speaker, sharing her expertise and passion for women’s health.

The event will be held at Limekiln, in Crowborough, and will run from 12 - 5pm. To secure your space, email: sarah@taylormadedreams.org.uk

In the lead up to International Women’s Day, we also proudly sponsored a special edition of Sussex Life magazine that was dedicated to celebrating incredible women across the county.

We featured in two special articles, with Dr Emma Sloan, our Women’s Health Specialist & GP, and Elin Richardson, The McIndoe Centre’s Hospital Director.

They both shared how The McIndoe Centre is recognising the gaps in medical care for women and working to provide specialist treatments that support women at every stage of life.
