So I always had concerns about my upper eyelids, specifically the fact that you couldn't see them. They started to occlude my vision as well and I found that I lost quite a lot of confidence actually in just being like a young woman and the inability to wear certain makeup and things like that. So when I decided that maybe surgery would be an option for me, I conducted my own research and I found Mr. Harley. I looked a lot at kind of before and after photos and I was really pleased with the results that he was able to get patients. I contacted his secretary at The McIndoe Centre and booked him for a consultation. The consultation was amazing, it was so informative and I felt truly listened to the results that I was looking for and the outcomes that Mr. Harley was able to produce completely aligned and it was a really great experience. Jade had local anaesthetic upper eyelid blepharoplasty, so what does that mean? She had pre surgical consultations. I took some time to measure and assess her eyes very carefully. We talked about the nature of the surgery together with some of the potential problems and risks and the anticipated recovery. Then on a separate day, attended for, the operation itself. The operation takes, well, it probably takes about an hour and a half. And then went home and returned about a week later to have the little stitches drawn out from eyelids and some adhesive strips removed. And then after that, we probably saw her another couple of times successive weeks just to check on wound healing. So overall I am extremely happy with the results that I've had. It does give you that kind of confidence back you know like I said as a young woman being able to like wear eyeshadow and actually be seen on your eyelids and that sounds really silly. But, yeah, the results are brilliant and the amount of people that have complimented, oh, know, you look so awake now. And that, again, that sounds really silly, but it is true. And, yeah, I would do it all again. It was it was definitely worth it.
