Vision Correction for all ages
If you are interested in vision correction treatment, Consultant Ophthalmic, Corneal and Refractive Surgeon Damian Lake will be presenting a talk on implantable contact lenses, multifocal lenses, toric lenses and pinhole lenses.
These lenses are very effective in the treatment of cataracts, short sight, far sight, astigmatism and keratoconus. Treatment at The McIndoe Centre is available for +18.
As well as holding his successful private practice at The McIndoe Centre, Mr. Lake is Lead Corneal Consultant at The Corneo Plastic Unit and medical advisor to the Eye Bank at The Queen Victoria Hospital. He is accredited in all aspects of eye care but specialises in corneal transplantation, cataract and laser refractive surgery, stem cell surgery and reconstruction of damaged eyes.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from The University of Glasgow, Mr Lake completed Ophthalmic surgical training in London before completing two Corneal fellowship positions, first at Moorfields Hospital and then at The Queen Victoria Hospital East Grinstead.
