Professional profile

Dr Meys is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist and accredited Mohs surgeon, and is the Mohs Lead at Queen Victoria Hospital. She specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatological surgery, with additional expertise in acne, rosacea, scarring, pigmentation, lasers, and cosmetic dermatology. She also manages a wide range of general skin conditions such as rashes, warts, and non-cancerous skin lesions.

Dr Meys completed her Medical Degree (BMedSci, MBBS Hons) in Australia before undertaking postgraduate training in the UK. She completed Dermatology Specialist Registrar Training in 2014 in Edinburgh and then London teaching hospitals. She holds an MD (Res) Higher Degree in Research from Imperial College (2013) and completed a UK accredited Mohs surgery training fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital (2019).

In addition to clinical practice, Dr Meys is involved in medical education and has served as an undergraduate teaching lead.  She has trained registrars and fellows, and worked internationally in private dermatology practice. She teaches on an International Postgraduate Dermatology Diploma and MSc course, contributes to the Dermatology UK Specialty Certificate Exam development, and has authored book chapters on dermatological surgery, pigmentation, and cosmeceuticals. Her research has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals.  She sits on the Executive Committee of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group and leads the National Cosmetic Dermatology Course for UK Dermatology Registrars.

Dr Meys provides a personalised, patient-centred approach to treatment, including skincare, anti-ageing therapies, laser procedures.

Personal profile

Dr Meys lives locally with her family.  She enjoys outdoor activities including running, cycling and has previously competed in the Ironman Triathlon 70.3 World Championships.  She was born in Australia and consequently is an active advocate of the importance of sun awareness and sun protection in preserving healthy skin.
