Dermal fillers and Injectables

The visible effects of ageing can be hard to deal with. If you are dissatisfied with your appearance, dermal fillers and injectables are non-surgical treatments that can be used to defy the effects of ageing and restore your body confidence.

According to your individual requirements, different products can be used to treat different areas of the face. This allows the procedure to be tailored to your specific needs. Areas of the face that can be treated include lines around the cheeks (nasolabial folds and marionette lines), the eye area (tear trough) and the lips.

Why You Might Need Dermal Fillers And Injectables

Dermal fillers and injectables can be used to rejuvenate skin and give the face a more youthful appearance. The procedure can also be used to help allay the visible effects of ageing on certain areas of the face.

What Does The Treatment Involve?

The procedure will vary depending on which areas of the face require treatment. This means that it is easy to tailor the treatment to your specific requirements. During the procedure, dermal filling products are injected into specific areas of the face. This gives skin a firm and youthful appearance and reduces the effects of ageing.

A topical anaesthetic will be applied to the specific area before the treatment is started. This is a minimally invasive procedure which does not leave scars.

The effects of dermal fillers and injectables are not a permanent solution. Although the time they last may vary between products, they usually lasts approximately 3-4 months and dermal fillers between 3-9 months. The different treatments and products available will be discussed with you during your consultation.

Recovery

Due to the nature of the treatment, recovery time isn’t usually required, meaning that patients are able to continue with their usual daily activities following the procedure. However, exercise is not recommended for the first 24 hours following treatment.
