Mr. Khandwala trained and graduated from the Grant Medical College in Bombay. Having been in the field of plastic surgery for 28 years, Asit is highly experienced and performs a wide range of procedures.
In 1993 Mr Khandwala came to Britain to complete a period of distinguished training at Charing Cross Hospital and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to name but a few. He then qualified in plastic surgery in 1996. Impressively, he was awarded a Hand Fellowship at St. James’s University Hospital in Leeds.
Asit does a large amount of cosmetic surgery including breast augmentation, reduction, abdominoplasties, liposuctions and facelifts, and eyelid surgery.

In 2004, Mr Khandwala was appointed as a Consultant in Plastic Surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital, just opposite The McIndoe Centre. Asit is also an Honorary Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at two other hospitals.
At the heart of Mr Khandwala’s work ethic is his relationship with his patients. One of his guiding principles is the education of his patients. Thorough preparation before, during and after surgery ensures optimal results. As part of his standard practice, he will remain in contact long after the operation- exemplary after-care forms a vital part of the procedure, all aspects are intrinsically linked.
Mr Khandwala is a member of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, a council member of BAPRAS and a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, BAAPS. Lastly, he is also an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
