Miss Camille Yvon

Miss Camille Yvon is a Consultant Eye and Eyelid Surgeon specialising in conditions affecting the eyelids, tear ducts, and the surface of the eye. She sees patients from across the UK.

Miss Yvon has a particular interest in eyelid surgery, including blepharoplasty, surgery to correct eyelid hooding, with a focus on natural-looking results that improve both appearance and eye function. She has performed over 1,000 eyelid operations, treating conditions such as drooping eyelids (ptosis), eyelids that turn inwards or outwards, eyelid problems caused by facial nerve weakness or paralysis, and skin cancers affecting the eyelids and surrounding area. She also performs minor procedures, including the removal of cysts and lumps around the eyes.

Miss Yvon graduated with distinction from King’s College London and went on to complete a Master’s degree at UCL, also awarded with distinction. She completed her specialist eye surgery training across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex, followed by an advanced eyelid surgery fellowship at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

She has published over 20 research articles and presented at conferences worldwide. A dedicated teacher, she was awarded Best Trainer in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex in 2020 and holds a formal teaching diploma. She has received 18 prizes for her research and clinical work.

Miss Yvon was previously a global health fellow with Unite for Sight, helping to set up eye care camps in rural Ghana.
