Ms Nora Nugent

Ms Nora Nugent is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery at The McIndoe Centre. She has a specialist interest in aesthetic surgery of the face and breast.

Nora encourages and helps her patients to achieve a fresh and natural look in all areas of aesthetic surgery.  She can also offer non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments that complement your surgical results.  At your consultation, Nora will offer a professional and honest opinion and will thoroughly discuss all your options with you.  She has a friendly and caring approach and places great emphasis on ensuring that you have the time and information to make the best decision for you.

She offers an extensive range of facial rejuvenation techniques from facial cosmetic surgery such as blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), facelifts and rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) through to medical grade skin care and non-surgical rejuvenation.  Nora has particular expertise in advanced face and necklift techniques such as deep plane facelifts and deep/reduction necklifts. As well as facial aesthetic surgery, Nora also performs aesthetic breast surgery such as breast augmentations, reductions and lifts, secondary breast implant surgery and tuberous breast surgery. While her main interests are in facial and breast aesthetic surgery, she also is very experienced in body contouring surgery such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and labiaplasty. 

Ms Nugent lectures regularly in the UK and internationally on aesthetic plastic surgery and has published in her areas of interest in the medical literature. She is also an International Editor for both the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum. Nora has been consistently recognised in the prestigious Tatler Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide for the last five years. 

Ms Nugent is a fully accredited plastic surgeon holding the FRCS (Plast) and Certification in all areas of cosmetic surgery under the Cosmetic Surgery Certification Scheme. She is on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery with the General Medical Council.  After graduating from University College Dublin, Ms Nugent completed specialist training in plastic surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.  She then undertook prestigious postgraduate fellowships in North America and Australia, which included extensive training in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery and hand surgery.
